Frequently Asked Questions

Do you photograph weddings?

Short answer- YES! I take on a small number of weddings, typically small queer weddings though I’ll work with cool couples of any presentation or orientation. I prefer small, intimate weddings but will do up to 10 hour events. If you’re interested in hiring me for your wedding, let’s talk! I’ll build you a custom package based on your needs.

Are you queer friendly?

Queer friendly? More like queer-centric! They say you shouldn’t make your sexuality your whole personality but it might be my favorite thing about me. SO. I’m loud and proud and want to create more queer images to showcase how incredible our community is. I’m also non-monogamous and love creating representation of polycules and families.

Do you do mini sessions?

Not really, no. I think there’s too much value lost when I lose time with my client and it’s a rushed job. I think you deserve more time and the images are often better if we have the space to really get into it. I also like customizing each session and don’t want a handful of them to look identical. You’re unique and deserve more!

Will you travel to me?

Please give me a reason to go somewhere! I have a very flexible lifestyle and plan trips year-round. Travel costs will be calculated into the cost but I can keep it thrifty. Keep up with my travels if you want to catch me when I’m near you!

Do you have a studio?

I rent a studio from another boudoir photographer in the art district of NorthEast Minneapolis. It’s mostly white, classic, and stunning, if you ask me! This spot gets incredible natural light most times of the day. It’s on the second floor and does not have elevator access, unfortunately. You can get a feel for it in the work I have shown on the Boudoir page.

Whats the process of booking you?

You inquire, we set up a video call, talk logistics and make a plan. I send you a contract, you send a retainer. We have the session, I take a little time to edit, and then you have your digital images ready to download! If you want to buy prints, you can do so though the website your albums is delivered on. More on the boudoir process in my blog.

What’s up with the sliding scale?

I want to work with people who have a range of income levels. Photography can be a bit of a luxury but I want to make it accessible to as many people as possible. Especially now. You deserve to have your memories documented. You deserve to have nice things. So I do everything I can to keep costs low so you can have lower costs, too. It works because those who can afford the higher end, pay that, and I can then still work with those who pay at the lower end.
